Alpha Grand Rapids Services
At Alpha Grand Rapids (AGR), we believe that everyone deserves support. All of our services are free, confidential, and available regardless of income, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, religion, nationality, or residence. The only thing we require is a photo ID. Please feel free to join as many programs as you would like!
Our programs are grouped into four categories:
If you think you may have a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) or Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), you can be tested by a trained medical staff member. Alpha Grand Rapids provides urine testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia, and we can refer you for treatment if the test is positive. STD testing is available by appointment on Wednesdays from 9am-1pm. Contact Us for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Ultrasounds are available by appointment for those who qualify. A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) will perform your ultrasound and assess the viability of the pregnancy. Ultrasounds are then reviewed by a doctor. Visit our Pregnant? page for more information, or Contact Us to schedule an appointment.
Trained mentors (for women) and coaches (for men) are available to provide you with caring, compassionate support as well as information and education. Meet one-on-one to discuss various topics like parenting, relationships, finances, goal-setting, etc. Appointments take place once a month and last approximately one hour, including 40-45 minutes spent talking with the mentor/coach and the remaining time spent shopping in the store. These appointments can take place any time during our open hours, so we can schedule a time that works best for you. Contact Us to learn more or schedule an appointment.
