Welcome to the Alpha Women’s Center of Grand Rapids (AWC) blog! If you follow us on Facebook or read our Constant Contact emails, you already receive information from AWC. So why are we starting a blog? With this launch, AWC will now have a new way to share in-depth stories as well as updates and news.

AWC is the largest square foot pregnancy care center in America. Our location on South Division allows us to meet with women and families who desperately need two things: help and hope. Whether it’s someone to talk to, diapers for a baby, or educational classes, we exist to partner with our clients. Sometimes this means providing support in a moment of crisis; other times it means developing relationships that last for years.

AWC began in 1985 and served 71 clients in the first year. We now help over 1,000 clients yearly through a variety of programs—and we are continuing to grow! Check back often to hear about the impact we are having in the Grand Rapids community. Come to learn more, be inspired, and see how AWC is changing hearts, changing lives, and changing generations!
